donor's family or state.
Will my decision to become an

the quality of my medical care?
NO. Organ and tissue recovery
happens only after every effort
has been
made to save your life,
and death has been legally
declared.
Will donation disfigure my body?
Can there still be an open
casket funeral?
Donation neither disfigures the
body, nor rules out an open
casket funeral.
What happens to my donated organ
and tissue?
A
national system is in place to
distribute organ and tissue
donation fairly.
Factors such as
race, gender, age, income and
celebrity are NOT
considered
when determining who receives
organ and tissue donations.
Furthermore, the buying and
selling of organs, tissue and
eyes is illegal.
All major religions approve of
organ and tissue donation and
consider donation the greatest
gift.
Nevada law prohibits the DMV
from selling or sharing Donor
Registry information with any
company or government agency.
